Jak wyobrażacie sobie bibliotekę? Mamy nadzieję, że nasze działania zmieniają stereotyp bibliotekarza. Staramy się, aby miejsce, które tworzymy – mowa tutaj o Oddziale dla Dzieci Miejskiej Biblioteki Publicznej im. Księcia Ludwika I w Brzegu było pełne magii, kolorów i uśmiechu najmłodszych! Z myślą o uatrakcyjnieniu naszej oferty powstał cykl spotkań „Pogaduchy o…”, które odbywają się w każdą środę, w godzinach od 16:00 do 18:00, w bibliotece dla dzieci przy ul. Jana Pawła II 2/2.

Naszym zamiarem jest tworzenie zajęć, które ściągną w mury książkowej krainy jak największą liczbę dzieci i ich rodziców. Mamy świadomość, że na naszych barkach spoczywa odpowiedzialność rozkochania dzieci w książkach. Bo przecież „czego Jaś się nie nauczy, tego Jan nie będzie umiał”. Maluchy, które odwiedzają Oddział dla Dzieci i wypożyczają ulubione książeczki, staną się w przyszłości świadomymi czytelnikami. Ziarenko miłości do książek, które zasieją w nich z naszą pomocą rodzice, rozwinie się w przyszłości w prawdziwą pasję!

Podczas cotygodniowych, popołudniowych spotkań oferujemy zabawę ZAWSZE opartą o jedną z bajek z naszego księgozbioru. Następnie przechodzimy do zabaw, prac plastycznych – nawiązujących do tematyki. Odbyły się już spotkania, których bohaterami był Rybak i złota rybka, Czerwony Kapturek, Smok Wawelski, Pszczółka Maja – jak widzicie, nie jest nudno!

Warto zaznaczyć, że podczas zajęć gościliśmy w Muzeum Piastów Śląskich w Brzegu (z okazji Międzynarodowego Dnia Muzeów), na Placu Polonii Amerykańskiej (w ramach Dnia Dziecka). Podczas ładnej pogody korzystamy również z zielonego terenu przy budynku głównym Miejskiej Biblioteki Publicznej. Do jednych z bardziej wzruszających zajęć należał Dzień Strażaka. Nasi najmłodsi czytelnicy, wkładając ogrom serca, zrobili piękne laurki dla Strażaków z Komendy Powiatowej Straży Pożarnej w Brzegu, które trafiły do rąk naszych gości. Z resztą – sami sprawdźcie, zaglądając na naszego Facebooka – Oddział dla Dzieci-Miejska Biblioteka Publiczna im. Księcia Ludwika I w Brzegu.

Jak widzicie w naszej bibliotece wiele się dzieje! Drodzy Rodzice – przyprowadźcie do nas swoje dzieci, a my obiecujemy zrobić wszystko żeby już u nas zostały na dłużej.
