IV Regaty Smoczych Łodzi w Brzegu za nami

W sobotę (25 czerwca) na terenie brzeskiej mariny odbyły się IV Regaty Smoczych Łodzi. Imprezę zorganizował Miejski Ośrodek Sportu i Rekreacji w Brzegu, a jej patronem był Burmistrz Brzegu Jerzy Wrębiak. Poprzednie trzy edycje regat miały miejsce w latach 2017 do 2019 i cieszyły się bardzo dużym zainteresowaniem.

Do udziału w zawodach zgłosiło się trzynaście załóg, każda złożona z ośmiu wioślarzy i sternika. Ten ostatni podaje rytm i głośnymi komendami zagrzewa wioślarzy do walki.

Na liczne grono widzów przyglądających się zmaganiom wioślarzy czekało również wiele imprez towarzyszących. Pokazy skuterów wodnych oraz pokaz ratownictwa wodnego, wystawa aut zabytkowych, a dla dzieci zabawa na dmuchańcach, malowanie twarzy i indiańska wioska przygotowana przez Miejską Bibliotekę Publiczną w Brzegu. Swoje stoiska miały również: policja, straż pożarna i wojsko.

Uczestnicy imprezy mogli również wziąć udział w zajęciach prowadzonych przez Angelikę Rolską z Coco Dance Center, a także w akcji profilaktycznej, dotyczącej bezpiecznego wypoczynku nad wodą pod hasłem „Nad wodą myślę trzeźwo”.
