Nagrody pieniężne, dyplomy i listy gratulacyjne –23 czerwca na Zamku Piastów Śląskich w Brzegu wręczone zostały stypendia Starosty Powiatu Brzeskiego dla uczniów ze szkół średnich i specjalnych, którzy osiągnęli w kończącym się roku szkolnym najlepsze wyniki w nauce. Wśród zaproszonych gości znaleźli m.in. dyrektorzy szkół, przedstawiciele związków zawodowych, nauczyciele, a także rodzice wyróżnionych uczniów. W imieniu starosty Jacka Monkiewicza, gratulacje składała Wicestarosta Powiatu Brzeskiego Ewa Smolińska.
