W sobotę (10 czerwca) KS Skarbimierz podejmował na własnym boisku GZ LZS Łubniany. Mecz został rozegrany w ramach 30. kolejki rundy wiosennej klasy okręgowej (grupa 1) i zakończył się wysoką przegraną miejscowej drużyny.
Przyjezdni od samego początku meczu narzucali ton grze. Nic dziwnego, na boisku spotkały się drużyny z przeciwległych biegunów tabeli – Łubniany z 4 pozycji, a KS Skarbimierz z 16 (ostatniej). Pierwsza bramka padła jednak dla Skarbimierza, a stało sięto w 30. minucie meczu. Jej zdobywca – Filip Kamiński – wypuścił się z szesnastu metrów, dostał podanie i znalazł się w sytuacji sam na sam z bramkarzem. Goście chcieli go złapać na spalonym. Podstęp się nie udał, a Kamiński okazji nie przepuścił i Skarbimierz wyszedł na prowadzenie.
Pięć minut później w polu karnym gospodarzy został sfaulowany zawodnik z Łubnian i arbiter podyktował rzut karny. Jego egzekutorem został Dawid Miroszka. Udało mu się przechytrzyć Sikorskiego i futbolówka wylądowała w bramce gospodarzy. Remis 1:1 utrzymał się do końca pierwszej połowy.
Trzy minuty po powrocie na boisko Markiewicz celnym strzałem podwyższył prowadzenie gości, a kwadrans później podyktowany został kolejny rzut karny i znowu Miroszka umieścił piłkę w siatce. Łubniany prowadziły już 3:1. Ostatnia bramka padła w 73. minucie spotkania. Jej zdobywcą był Mateusz Ptak z Łubnian.
Mecz zakończył się wynikiem 1:4 dla przyjezdnych. Zwycięstwo trzeba przyznać zasłużone, goście zdecydowanie panowali na boisku, potwierdzając tym samym wysoką pozycję w tabeli. Gospodarze mieli co prawda kilka ładnych akcji, niestety tylko jedną skuteczną.
To był ostatni mecz rundy wiosennej. W następnym sezonie KS Skarbimierz zagra w A-klasie. Trzeba przyznać, że ten sezon nie był dla drużyny zbyt pomyślny. Zawodnicy KS Skarbimierz zdobyli 17 punktów. Strzelili 34 bramki, tracąc przy tym 86. Na 30 rozegranych meczów wygrali tylko 5 i 2 zremisowali.
Słabo nam wyszła ta runda. Mamy w zespole dużą liczbę wojskowych, przez liczne wyjazdy trochę nam się wiosna posypała. Dalej gramy w piłkę, wszyscy zawodnicy pozostają. Tym razem powalczymy o mistrzostwo A klasy. Jak się uda, to znowu awansujemy, a jak nie to trudno. Głowa do góry i gramy dalej – powiedział Krzysztof Gołąb, Prezes KS Skarbimierz.
