DOLCE VITA – wystawa malarstwa Bożeny Kurek-Di Maggio w Galerii Sztuki Współczesnej BCK

W piątek (7 lipca) w Galerii Sztuki Współczesnej Brzeskiego Centrum Kultury odbył się wernisaż wystawy malarstwa Bożeny Kurek-Di Maggio pt.: DOLCE VITA.

Bożena Kurek-Di Maggio zajmuje się malarstwem sztalugowym. Jest też organizatorką międzynarodowych plenerów i eventów kulturalnych na południu Włoch, pod patronatem ambasady RP i Instytutu Polskiego w Rzymie. Ma na swoim koncie liczne wystawy zbiorowe, poplenerowe i personalne we Włoszech, Polsce i Republice Czech.

Studiowała na Accademia di Belle Arti w Bari we Włoszech (mieście królowej Bony Sforzy) oraz na Wydziale Sztuki Uniwersytetu Opolskiego. Paradoksalnie swoją edukację artystyczną rozpoczęła od muzyki – ukończyła szkołę muzyczną 1 stopnia w Krapkowicach (w klasie akordeonu) oraz szkołę muzyczną 1 stopnia w Opolu (klasa śpiewu solowego). Równolegle uczęszczała do Ogniska Plastycznego w Opolu, gdzie jej pierwszym nauczycielem malarstwa był Zbigniew Krygiel, a rzeźby Adolf Panitz.

Ostatecznie wybrała sztuki plastyczne, w obawie – jak sama mówi – stania się puszystą śpiewaczką operową. Jako edukator rozwoju przez sztukę prowadzi zajęcia plastyczne według własnego programu oraz aretterapie w Centrum Zdrowia Psychicznego Soteria AnaMija w Opolu.

Bardzo mi miło, że zostałam zaproszona do Brzegu, aby zaprezentować swoje obrazy. Jestem zachwycona Brzegiem – to przepiękne, estetyczne miasteczko. Bardzo mi się podoba. Dzięki mojemu synowi wżeniamy się w Brzeg, bo za tydzień zostanę teściową po raz pierwszy. Tym bardziej cieszy mnie, że mogłam zaprezentować się lokalnej społeczności. Wracając do moich obrazów, to są one dla mnie pretekstem do budowania relacji. Największą radość sprawiają mi zajęcia (nawet nie nazywam tego pracą) z dziećmi, z młodzieżą i z dorosłymi. Pomagam im odkrywać, jacy są wspaniali. Przez sztukę mamy okazję budować relacją ze sobą, ze światem. Dla mnie sztuka to świat duchowy. Dzięki pandemii zaczęłam się bardziej rozwijać duchowo. Wcześniej byłam katoliczką, która szła sobie do kościoła, żeby odfajkować mszę. Pandemia sprawiła, że zaczęłam się mocniej otwierać i poczułam się córką króla, w dodatku wszechmogącego. Mam nadzieję, że moje aktualne obrazy emanują radością życia i pozytywnie motywują odbiorcę – powiedziała mi w trakcie wernisażu Bożena Kurek-Di Maggio, autorka wystawy.

Różnie pandemia na nas wpłynęła. Sztuka jako narzędzie apostolskie? Dlaczego nie. Jednak do atelier Pani Bożeny przychodzą nie tylko katolicy, ale również ateiści. Wszyscy mogą odkrywać, jacy są wspaniali.
Warto zobaczyć obrazy Pani Bożeny, które – powtórzę za autorką – emanują radością życia i pozytywnie motywują odbiorcę.

Wystawę można podziwiać do 1 sierpnia 2023 roku w Galerii Brzeskiego Centrum Kultury, w godzinach pracy galerii. Zachęcamy do oglądania wystawy.
