W poniedziałek (25.07) pomiędzy Gminą Brzeg, reprezentowaną przez MOSiR Brzeg, a firmą TECHRAMPS Sp. z o.o. sp.k., z siedzibą w Krakowie podpisana została umowa na wykonanie kompletnej dokumentacji projektowej wraz z wykonaniem robót budowlanych dla zadania pn. „Adaptacja przestrzeni przy PSP nr 5 na potrzeby ogólnodostępnego skateparku”.
W ramach umowy zostanie stworzony projekt umożliwiający wybudowanie nowoczesnego, betonowego skateparku o powierzchni 814 m2. Zlokalizowany on będzie w miejscu starego, zniszczonego boiska asfaltowego znajdującego się obok hali sportowej przy ul. Oławskiej. Skatepark będzie posiadał nieregularny kształt, zbliżony do prostokąta, a jednymi z najważniejszych przeszkód będą m.in. bowl o dwóch wysokościach ze spin ramp, bank ramp, dwa wallride z betonowym copingiem czy bank ramp z grindboxem i wiele innych.
Wartość inwestycji to 2 749 050,00 zł. Projekt będzie dofinansowany ze środków pochodzących z Unii Europejskiej w ramach Regionalnego Programu Operacyjnego Województwa Opolskiego na lata 2014-2020, działanie 10.02. Inwestycje wynikające z lokalnych planów rewitalizacji – 483 869, 33 zł.
Zakończenie realizacji zadania planowane jest na czerwiec 2023 roku.
