II Gminny Festiwal Gier Planszowych pod patronatem Burmistrza Lewina Brzeskiego już za nami. Impreza zrealizowana została w ramach projektu „Dobre bo lokalne 2” przygotowanego przez Stowarzyszenie „Brzesko-Oławska Wieś Historyczna” w Krzyżowicach.
Festiwal odbył się w Publicznej Szkole Podstawowej im. Juliusza Słowackiego w Łosiowie w dwóch terminach: 2 czerwca rywalizowali ze sobą uczniowie klas VII-VIII, a 6 czerwca uczniowie klas I-VI oraz seniorzy.
Impreza była okazją do zaprezentowania uczestnikom alternatywnych form spędzania wolnego czasu – bez potrzeby korzystania ze smartfonów i Internetu. Był to również czas idealny do integracji i rozwinięcia kompetencji społecznych.
Projekt zrealizowano w szkołach podstawowych Gminy Lewin Brzeski: Publicznej Szkole Podstawowej w Lewinie Brzeskim, Publicznej Szkole Podstawowej w Łosiowie i Publicznej Szkole Podstawowej w Skorogoszczy. Objętych wsparciem zostało 846 uczniów, a także seniorzy z Lewina Brzeskiego i Łosiowa.
Przed finałem, w każdej szkole oraz w Klubach Seniorów odbyły się zajęcia z wykorzystaniem gier planszowych.
W II Gminnym Festiwalu Gier Planszowych pod patronatem Burmistrza Lewina Brzeskiego Artura Kotary wzięło udział 48 reprezentantów z poszczególnych szkół oraz 11 seniorów. Zwycięzcami w zostali:

Program został zrealizowany dzięki wsparciu finansowemu: Stowarzyszenia „Brzesko-Oławska Wieś Historyczna” w Krzyżowicach oraz Urzędu Miasta Lewin Brzeski.
Festiwal połączony był z pokazami i warsztatami w ramach akcji „Bezpieczne wakacje”. Uczestnicy finału oraz uczniowie PSP w Łosiowie, nauczyciele i seniorzy mieli podczas nich możliwość uzyskania umiejętności pomocnych, a wręcz niezbędnych, w trudnych sytuacjach życiowych, np.: podczas wypadku drogowego, pożaru, pobytu nad wodą. Pokazy i warsztaty przeprowadzone zostały przez funkcjonariuszy służb mundurowych i ratowników medycznych.
Współorganizatorzy finału: Beata, Krzysztof Olszewscy „BO_WIEM”, Policjanci z Komendy Policji w Lewinie Brzeskim, Ratownicy z Wodnego Ochotniczego Pogotowia Ratunkowego w Brzegu, Strażacy z Ochotniczej Straży Pożarnej w Łosiowie, Leśnicy z Nadleśnictwa Brzeg, Ratownicy z Ratownictwa Medycznego Wojnarowski Andrzej.
Patronat medialny nad festiwalem objęli: Radio Park, Przegląd Brzeski i Panorama Powiatu.
