Kilka miesięcy współzawodnictwa na boiskach, kilkadziesiąt turniejów i zawodów – podsumowaliśmy sportową rywalizację szkół średnich powiatu brzeskiego.

23 czerwca w naszym starostwie wręczyliśmy nagrody i dyplomy dla najlepszych placówek edukacyjnych. Miło nam poinformować, że po kilku latach dominacji I Liceum Ogólnokształcącego w Brzegu, w tym roku szkolnym na arenach sportowych bezapelacyjnie najlepsi byli uczniowie Zespołu Szkół Ekonomicznych.

Na drugim stopniu podium znalazła się „Słowianka”, a trzecie miejsce przypadło I LO. Laureaci otrzymali odpowiednio 1000, 800 i 600 złotych na zakup sprzętu sportowego. Pozostałych naszych placówek, które nie stanęły „na pudle” nie pominęliśmy. II LO, „Budowlanka” i grodkowski ZSP otrzymały po 300 złotych.

Nagrody i wyróżnienia w imieniu starosty Jacka Monkiewicza wręczała Wicestarosta Powiatu Brzeskiego Ewa Smolińska.
