Pożar na osiedlu Westerplatte w Brzegu

Dziś około godziny 9:20 służby otrzymały zgłoszenie o pożarze mieszkania na osiedlu Westerplatte w Brzegu. Na miejscu bardzo szybko pojawiła się straż pożarna z Brzegu, OSP Michałowice i policja.
Przeprowadzono akcję ratunkową i ewakuowano mieszkańców.

Dostaliśmy zgłoszenie, że w jednym z budynków przy ul. Westerplatte doszło do pożaru mieszkania. Na miejsce zostały zadysponowane 4 zastępy z JRG Brzeg i 1 zastęp OSP z Michałowic. Po przybyciu na miejsce zdarzenia okazało się, że faktycznie taki pożar miał miejsce.

W mieszkaniu nie przebywały żadne osoby, więc nie ma osób poszkodowanych. Około 20 osób ewakuowało się samodzielnie z klatki schodowej, w której doszło do pożaru. Natomiast 2 osoby, z wyższej kondygnacji, strażacy ewakuowali przy pomocy drabiny mechanicznej. Taka konieczność zachodziła, ponieważ klatka schodowa była mocno zadymiona i sprowadzanie tych ludzi wiązałoby się z ryzykiem nawdychania się przez nich substancji niebezpiecznych.

Sytuacja jest już opanowana, pożar został ugaszony. Nie znamy jeszcze przyczyn pożaru – powiedział mł. bryg. Jacek Nowakowski, Oficer Prasowy PSP w Brzegu.
