Trwa przeprowadzka organizacji pozarządowych, działających na terenie Gminy Brzeg przy ul. Jagiełły 23. Nowe siedziby będą mieścić się w budynku należącym do Zarządu Nieruchomości Miejskich.

Towarzystwo Przyjaciół Dzieci, Związek Emerytów Rencistów i Inwalidów, Towarzystwo Rozwoju Ziemi Brzeskiej oraz Koło PTTK „Jarzębina” zyskają nowe siedziby. Gmina Brzeg zaproponowała lokal przy ul. Bolesława Chrobrego 33, który od razu przypadł do gustu przedstawicielom tych organizacji.

Zagospodarowanie przestronnych, jasnych wnętrz w budynku należącym do ZNM sprawi, że będą one na nowo tętniły życiem. Wspólne użytkowanie obiektu, przez stowarzyszenia i związki, przyniesie obopólne korzyści, zarówno dla samych organizacji, jak i dla mieszkańców miasta.

– Cieszę się, że w te puste lokale tchnięto nowe życie, a dzięki ich zagospodarowaniu, organizacje pozarządowe z Brzegu zyskały nowe siedziby. Wspieramy działalność stowarzyszeń i związków, bo wiemy, ile dobrego robią dla brzeżan – mówi Burmistrz Brzegu Jerzy Wrębiak.
