Rywalizacja strażaków z gminy Lubsza

Druhowie z sześciu jednostek Ochotniczej Straży Pożarnej z terenu gminy Lubsza rywalizowali w zawodach sportowo-pożarniczych, które 2 lipca odbywały się w Borucicach.

Na wstępie komendant zawodów, druh Wojciech Dyda, złożył uroczysty meldunek wójtowi gminy Lubsza, Bogusławowi Gąsiorowskiemu, który dokonał oficjalnego rozpoczęcia imprezy.

Zawodnicy rywalizowali w dwóch konkurencjach – sztafeta z przeszkodami 7×50 metrów oraz tzw. „bojówka”, czyli jak najszybsze rozwinięcie, podłączenie i uruchomienie sprzętu strażackiego w taki sposób, aby celnie skierować prąd wody na stojące pachołki.

Strażacy startowali w różnych kategoriach – poza drużynami męskimi, wystąpiła również jedna ekipa pań oraz Młodzieżowe Drużyny Pożarnicze, a także pokazowo – dzieci w wieku 10-12 lat.

Widowiskowe zawody miały bardzo emocjonujący przebieg, a nad ich prawidłowym przebiegiem czuwała komisja sędziowska pod przewodnictwem mł. brygadiera Jacka Nowakowskiego z Komendy Powiatowej Państwowej Straży Pożarnej w Brzegu.

Nagrody pieniężne dla poszczególnych zespołów ufundowali Wójt Gminy Lubsza oraz Marszałek Województwa Opolskiego.

Nagrody uczestnikom rywalizacji wręczali: Bogusław Gąsiorowski (Wójt Gminy Lubsza), Wojciech Jagiełłowicz (Przewodniczący Rady Gminy Lubsza), brygadier Dariusz Kulawinek (p.o. Komendant Powiatowy KP PSP w Brzegu), Piotr Cierpisz (Prezes Zarządu Powiatowego ZOSP RP w Brzegu), Paweł Fieszak (Prezes Zarządu Gminnego ZOSP RP w Lubszy)

Po skończonych zawodach zebrani przeszli na teren obok pobliskiej świetlicy wiejskiej, gdzie wspólnie z mieszkańcami Borucic raczyli się m.in. wyśmienitą tradycyjną grochówką i uczestniczyli w zabawie zorganizowanej przez sołectwo Borucice.

Organizatorami zawodów byli Wójt Gminy Lubsza, Zarząd Gminny ZOSP RP w Lubszy oraz OSP Rogalice. Pomocą przy organizacji imprezy służyli także pracownicy Gminnego Ośrodka Kultury w Lubszy.
